Promoting Road Safety: National Road Safety Week

The Saksham Bharti Foundation was super active during the National Road Safety Week from January 11th to 17th, 2023. They really wanted to tell everyone about being safe on the roads, so they did a bunch of really cool things.

First, they had this competition where students in Etawah, Auraiya, and Kanpur made posters. These posters had important messages about staying safe on the roads, like how to cross them carefully and follow the rules.

Then, they did this big rally that went from Etawah to Kanpur right on the highway. The main goal was to teach people about the rules for being safe on the road. During this rally, the students did something fun - they acted out a play right there on the street, called Nukad Natak. In this play, they showed everyone how to drive safely and be super careful on the road.

The students also wanted to say "good job" to those who were following the rules. To appreciate responsible behavior, students distributed chocolates to two-wheeler drivers wearing helmets. For those violating traffic rules, students offered flowers and engaged in conversations to explain the importance of wearing helmets and seatbelts for their safety.

All of these things the Saksham Bharti Foundation did during the National Road Safety Week were to teach not only the students but also everyone in the community about being safe on the roads. By showing the right way and spreading knowledge, they helped make the roads safer and keep people's lives protected.

The Saksham Bharti Foundation joining the National Road Safety Week shows that they really care about people staying safe on the roads. Through these actions, they're showing how much they want to make a good difference and make everyone understand how to be responsible on the roads for a future that's super safe.
